William Shatner looked out into the audience with a child's eyes and knew that he wanted to be an actor. The year was 1937 and he was just six years old, performing in a play at summer camp in the Laurentian mountains of his native Canada. By the age of ten, Bill was a staple in weekly radio shows and after-school plays. His early passion and training laid the groundwork for a highly successful acting career.
