He is a Fellow with Diamond Technology Partners and Diamond Exchange, an interdisciplinary roundtable for senior executives working to develop digital strategies. Downes also holds teaching appointments at both The University of Chicago Graudate School of Business and the Northwestern University School of Law. He is co-author of the Business Week and New York Times bestseller, Unleashing the Killer App: Digital Strategies for Market Dominance. Mr. Downes is Executive Producer and Host of the annual "Net Returns" conference, sponsored by The Industry Standard and has written for a variety of publications, including The American Banker, CIO, Wired and USA Today.
