Donald L. Neal, formerly CEO and chief consultant at Focalpoint Marketing, Inc., has joined the New York office of Rapp Collins Worldwide in the new position of senior vice president, marketing director. He will serve as lead agency contact on some of the office's key accounts, including Mercedes-Benz, Exxon/Mobil and Kaiser Permanente. He is experienced in design and implementation of integrated marketing and sales processes based on combined online and offline customer relationship management (CRM). Focalpoint, in Washington, DC, provides strategic development and implementation of programs for clients such as Coca-Cola, Merck, Verizon, Exxon/Mobil, Compaq Computer, Time Warner and AAA. Prior to Focalpoint, Neal spent 15 years at Hallmark Cards, where he was director of marketing & strategic alliances for the company's Loyalty Marketing Group. He co-led the management team at Hallmark that launched a new business-to-business direct marketing division. "Don Neal is an expert in both business and marketing strategy," said Malcolm Speed, chairman and CEO, Rapp Collins Worldwide, the recent winner of Adweek's prestigious Agency of the Year President's Award for outstanding performance by a non-traditional ad agency in 2000. "He can operationalize a relationship management vision and deliver both short- and long-term results for clients." Neal is a well-known national speaker on the topic of CRM, and is an active member of both the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) Advisory Council and the National Center for Database Marketing (NCDM).
